After nearly 22 years, operating as Indiana’s first riverboat casino, The City of Evansville Riverboat will depart from Tropicana Evansville on October 30, 2017.
The riverboat, modeled after the historic Robert E. Lee Riverboat, arrived in Evansville, Indiana in December of 1995 and has served as a casino gaming vessel on Evansville’s downtown riverfront since that time.
The riverboat casino closed permanently to the public on October 16th, 2017 to prepare for the opening of Tropicana Evansville’s new land-based casino and entertainment facility on October 20th, 2017.
